Cat Toy

Luke, our 8 month old lab, doesn't get out much! As you can imagine it would be like a bull in a china shop. Most of his life is spent tearing up my kitchen. Well...every once in a while I do let him have some freedom. This morning, much to Lucy's dismay, Luke was let out. Well I'll let Luke and Lucy tell the rest of the story...

"Is that what I think it is?"

"I think there is something under that bed..."

"WOW! A toy that moves and makes noise by itself!"

"I think this toy is a little more than I bargained for!"

"I showed him!!"

Life with 3 dogs and 2 cats...priceless!

Munching on last year's acorns?

The goose I raised, she comes by and eats weeds sometimes.

She's gorgeous but can be feisty!

He almost glows in the sun.

Aunt Shirley's and Uncle Burt's Visit!

We were so excited for Aunt Shirley and Uncle Burt to come and visit. We all got together to catch up with each other, share stories from the past, and eat! It wasn't near enough time but we were thankful for every second!

Daddy shares stories of the time he almost set the kitchen on fire as a child...as well as other wild tales from childhood...

The girls visiting...

Lunch...

Aunt Shirley's new favorite dessert! Yum-they don't last long in my house either!

Wow look how tall!

The end of the day and...off to the dance

Huguenot Memorial Park

This morning we decided to take a leisurely drive out to the only place left that you can drive on the beach. It was very nice, it was not too hot, yet.

Driving over the Dames Point Bridge...boy is it UP there!

Lots of sea gulls...watch out...keep your head covered!

More birds...

The jeep on the beach was lots of fun!

The Jetties

Beautiful water

Waiting on the way home.

But what a view to enjoy while we waited...

What's cool is you can camp at the park too. I think it is very primitive camping but for one night I think I could handle it.

Welcome to Us!!!!

Welcome to the J-ville clan site. We don't get to see everybody very much or even talk to keep up with the latest. Come join in on our Sunday Dinner which celebrated Rachel's Birthday and Sean and Keely's engagement!!!
