Decorating the Tree

Thanks to a wildly playful kitten we had to buy a new Christmas tree this year. Our playful little Lucy destroyed our tree so bad we had to throw it away last year. This one is pretty nice. It is a prelit tree so no lights or wires to mess with how nice! Lucy was there however in the middle of everything supervising what was going on.

I guess it doesn't matter how simple a task may be at some point you will have to refer to the directions.

Kathy's Birthday Wishes!

Well it's time to wish another in our clan a very happy birthday!

So this is how you sing happy birthday and blow out candles without sharing your cold! We were very grateful. We told her we were supposed to give her presents not the other way around :-)

We Are Thankful!

So many things to be thankful for....being close to my family, work, wonderful children, birthdays, a wonderful husband, the sunrise every day and the sunset every night, the ability to walk, see and enjoy everything God has created. I hope you and your family enjoyed Thanksgiving as much as we did!

Let the Holidays Begin!

It's November 1st! This marks the beginning of the holiday season. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and unfortunately it is just about all but forgotten these days. I am already looking forward to it!!! (lots of food of course :-)
