There's a Fungus Amungus

With all the rain we have been having here some strange creations have been growing in my backyard. They look like little villages. They just sprang up out of nowhere...but very interesting I must say and each one totally different than the others.



Looks more like something that should be at the bottom of the ocean!

They start off small and just get bigger and....

I know some plants in nature are beneficial to have in your yard or garden. I'm not sure having such a variety of mushrooms is a good thing or not! Definitely interesting though...

Caught on Camera

I was in my kitchen finishing up dinner when what before my wandering eyes did appear?! Mom and Daddy out for an evening stroll! I had caught sight of them before but this time I was able to catch them on film. Thought I would share the sighting in case you thought they had disappeared. They haven't, they are still out there.


There they go! They were walking at a pretty fast pace. They were half way down the street by the time I got outside!! I was so stealth they didn't even know I was there...sneaky, sneaky :-)

Another Happy Birthday!

Well it's another Happy Birthday this time for Sean! Everyone gathered, ate (as usual) and then had cake!

There's no place like home!

Well after a 12 day stay in the hospital Daddy is finally home. I know he is as happy as Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz! I think the hospital probably felt like Oz at times...there were some good witches and some bad ones too (speaking of the nurses)! He is taking little munchkin steps to getting better. I will keep you posted!
